As Broke as a Joke takes off, Emily and Allison hope it will not only entertain, but do some good. People need a break from their troubles, and they need a good laugh - but they also need help. They need to figure out ways to cut costs, save and stretch what money they do have, and still improve their health, happiness and quality of life.

This part of the Broke as a Joke web presence will be a tool - part directory, part advice column, part bulletin board - where the show's creators and viewers can share information. Which recipes are healthy, easy and cheap? What auto repair can easily be done at home in your driveway? Which expenses can you cut or scale back, and which ones should you keep?
